Situation
For centuries, killers have disposed of bodies in Doskvol’s canals, creating vengeful ghosts. The Gondoliers have long protected the city from these threats, predating even the Spirit Wardens. Most citizens trust them over the ruthless and indiscriminate Spirit Wardens when dealing with “weird problems.” Recently, a surge of ritually disfigured hollows has been dumped in the canals. The Gondoliers are investigating—while the Spirit Wardens conspicuously ignore the situation.
